Hey Ox do the lads like AC/DC ?
I just got tickets for hampden park this summer for me, my wife and our 11 year old daughter. It will be a gig to remember for sure and possibly there last UK appearance!!
They are playing Wembley on the 26th of June, you would have to get tickets from an Internet site such as viagogo or the likes as they sold out instantly.
Good luck.

If you can keep your head while all about you are losing theirs, you probably haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation!

Altho it means waiting till the last minuite, if there is a concert that is sold out that you want to go to its a good idea to wait until about a week or so before and keep phoning ticketmaster or any other ticket vendor for last minuite releases of tickets ...
You often find they release un-sold / retrurns or whatever just before the event!
Ive got to see quite a few concerts that have been sold out for months this way.
I wont pay people more than the face value ... (soz pet annoyance of mine!)
Also if you are near to the venue you want to see the band at (obvuiously this applies to you ox at Wembley) keep popping in and checking with them just before the event ... I cant comment on how Wembley opperate but a localish venue to me they take down names of people who want sold out tickets and if they get any returns they contact you and offer them to you! Face value price obviously.
Just some ideas ... hope this helps
By the way altho you may not be into them ... do you know that Judas Priest are playing Wembley Arena on Sat. 21st Feb.
But be warned supported by Megadeth and Testament ... possible mosh pit hazzards lol

Other details regarding The Sonishere Festival ...
It will be a touring festival ...
Visiting Holland, Germany, Spain, Sweeden & Finland ...
before the finally comming to the U.K.
They are claiming to go for quality rather than quantity ...
ie 2 days instead of 3 and the ability to view all acts that are playing.
Having i believe two stages, one at either end of the arena.
so no running about all over the place trying to catch your favorite bands ... or miss them as is often the case due to your faves being on at the same time !!!
Altho they have only announced four bands so far they are hinting at some cvery special guests ... Linkin Park and Metalica are quite a coup for them already id say!
The price is however about the same as for the Download festival ... get what you pay for ... bigger names, not so much hassle re: band viewing options blah blah ...
Anyway ... im considering this new one at this point in time ...
closer for me as well!
lol
Aint been to Knebworth since Oasis in 1996 either! lol

Just to proove a point i made regarding getting tickets to sold out shows ...
Earlier today i got a ticket for 'The Killers' at the O2 next Mon.
Having checked earlier today with no tickets available ...
I re-checked late this afternoon !
Result ... Standing Ticket
As id mentioned in a previous post ...
They often release tickets maybe a week before the event ...
So any of you wanting sold out tickets ...
Ignore the bloody touts and annoying people trying to rip you off and wait !
Anyway ... ive now got two gigs next week lol
one Sat and one Mon !!!
