Kings of Leon are great, they make me smile because they're different.
Once, a couple of friends invited us over to see 'tin lizzy'. I thought this must be a tribute band and was really excited, told everyone. I then found out that Tin Lizzy was the name of their narrowboat! Downer.
I felt a fool but it's humbling to do so once in a while. It was a lovely narrowboat but lacking in Phil Lynnott

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming

Well that was a very entertaing two nights ...
I shant give anything away re: Motorhead & Alice Cooper as requested but it was a really good night :o) I possitioned myself centre stage right at the front appart from a line of short girlies ... well worth seeing in my book :o)
And last night ... The Sex Pistols !!!
I was right at the front for this one!!! cntre stage right in front of Mr. Rotten
Then i giot my ribs crushed! oooops slipped back one place as it didnt hurt as much with someone in front of me! yeah i know im getting old but ...

Ive just been up A&E to make sure everything is ok as ive been weezing all day and my bloody ribs hurt! lol All is ok tho ... just brussing apparently which is good :o)

hmmm oh and while i think about it ...
I got confirmation from ticketmaster that the 'Sum 41' gig i was going to at Hammersmith has been cancelled due to the back injury sustained by Deryck Whibley
so that means my next outing to a concert will the Lizzy & Queensryche in Dec.
