Well the 'Manic's gig last night was good ...
They played a good variety of their tunes incl. the ones i wanted to hear :o)
So now i'd better change my concert Avitar ... lol
before 'RSV' gets too flustered! hmm @ angles down here ...
the avitar pic was The Manic's latest album cover ... lol
anyway ...
Also as a bonus last night as i mentioned above prior to the concert i got a ticket for
'Velvet Revolver' at the same venue :o) that'll be good as they always throw in some G'n'R's stuff for obvious reasons !!! lol
oooo and my Sum 41 ticket is in the post ...

Its was as i'd said 'Kawa' ... 'Diamond Head'
And as a couple of blokes i was talking to at the 'Manic's gig said ...
That they had seen Lizzy at Southampton also with Diamond Head in support. They aggreed with me that they were really good as an opening band ... got the crowd going etc and were very much appreciated ... But they did say that Lizzy had a few sound probs also !!! at Southampton ... Which was not the case when i saw them :o) ... im babbling arnt i ? lol

Time i opened this thread up again ...
... got a standing ticket on friday for Linkin Park ...
I knew it was worth waiting till just before the event to get what hasnt been available for months (standing ticket that is) ... im guessing theve released any that had been held back ... still ill now be able to see what the O2 arean is like next tues

Well i saw Linkin Park last night :o)
Was right near the front and might be in the next vid.
(altho i doubt it ... but we'll see)
Great gig tho ... well i enjoyed it anyway lol
Support was from Biffo Clyro ... not bad for a support i thought.

adz, I love Rush! Have seen them a couple of times. Neil Peart is the master of percussion! Nothing short of amazing. Martin, I saw yesterday where Zeppelin is thinking about a world tour. We can only hope!

I dug out my old copy of 'Minstrel in the Gallery' by Jethro Tull yesterday. Haven't heard it for about 15 years. It's bloody brilliant! I saw them in Liverpool Empire years ago. They had a sofa on stage and they were getting people up and giving them a cup of tea while they played. Pity they went a bit sh!t in the late 80s.

Tonight im going to the Hammersmith Apollo to see
The Scorpions
Support: Schenker/Barden
Supporting Act: Uli Jon Roth & Sky Of Avalon
Uli Jon Roth & Michael Schenker are also going to play some songs with the Scorpions ... Can't wait to see these two former lead guitarists play with them.
I did however see Michael Schenker join his brother Rudolf and the rest of the Scorpions on stage in the early 80's, think it might have been on the 'Blackout' tour.
