Just tried a diffrent metal polish, instead of trusty old autosol, Mothers alloy polish....wow this stuff is dynamite. no mad buffing and painfull finger cramps, just rub on to clean alloy leave for a few mins wipe off and hey presto , mirror finsh!!!! A mate brought it back from canada but i checked internet auctions and you can get it here too. Probably old news to some of you, but if you havnt tried it yet...give it a go.
