very windy here...When I first moved next to this wood I was worried about the Blair witch thingy..now I am worried that the trees are going to fall on the cottage...when the wind drops again i spose I will be back to Blair Witch again...Went to the town today and car was all over the place nearly flew away!!! Good job I had my Ruby Shoes on and trusty dog Toto with me.

well wonders upon wonders the bike started this mornin and behaved itself too, however no sooner was i riding it when common sense told me i wasnt going to get to workinton in one piec so i pulled in at the train station and let the train take the strain..... had to walk bloody miles to get to the job search building and thought i would be blown over all the way there...had to wait over 2 hours for my train home cos they were all delayed by the high winds etc... finally got home to find the electric had been off all day so i couldnt even get a coffee ffs..... ahh well it came back on again . oh and i have a job interview on monday as well.. things may be looking up!

Roe, they have closed a lot of roads here and banned high sided vans and lorries, there has been 7 deaths here today from the winds including a 2 yr old up the road from me. Tomorrow is forecast the same my advise is to forget coming tomorrow as the roads here are in chaos and most trains local and national have been stopped too. http://www.capitalradio.com/ link to best local radio station, use travel watch to see the latest headlines and conditions. Or call me and i`ll look out of the window.

My daughter's school sports hall roof blew off!! pmsl its was quite funny actually Sandie text me at 3pm (the time they finish school) to say the roof had come down and they couldn't leave and the police were there. so i text back saying ... don't panic i'll get u out and do everything they tell u to do. then i got another one back saying ... lol what u on about, we just can't leave yet but were not trapped lol i don't know what i was gonna do but all i could think was i'll have to get in there and get my daughter out. anyway there was no need she wasn't in the building that lost its roof but the police just wanted to make sure it was secure enough to even let anyone walk past. there r also roads closed all over the place cos of fallen trees. some roads closed while emergency vehicles secure different things. there was a few things broken and blown about in the garden and i think its moved my sky dish cos i can't get a signal!!!!!!!
