I went to last years and thought that it was a shower of shhhhhh......!! Now don't get me wrong too much organisation is never good, but none at all can be even worst. We'll be giving it a miss this year. Have you been to the Rock and Blues before? It's run by the outlaws, and was fantastic last year so we'll definitely be going to that :o)

Been to both the bulldog and the rock and blues..... both of em are suffering from the hippy tosspot festival goer rock and blues more so than the bulldog. i prefer the bash meself lots of action on the drag strip lots of action on stage too. having said that the big events are too expensive and too many folk go to em. give me a small rally anyday, way better atmosphere and you dont get the feeling that yer being ripped off quite so much either. Both bulldog and R&B charge loads to get in (it pays for the bands etc so its still actually fairly good value i suppose if yer into that kinda thing) but its the vendors that really take the piss.... 1 pound for a bottle of water that costs about 20p to buy, tea and coffe at 80p (its just a bag or instant mostly) beer is often too expensive for what it is too (take yer own but dont take glass bottles.) i probably wont be at the bulldog due to it being the weekend after the Iron Ore rally which i always go to. and i definatly wont be at the R&B either mainly cos i hated it the year i went the atmosphere wasnt a good one there at all. although the levellers were good. if i had to choose between the two it would be the bulldog.....dosnt seem like 21 years since i was at the first one.

That's ok Steve :o) Finding somewhere to pitch the tents was a nightmare, the bands were crap and beer was £3 per can at the bulldog!!! The best band we saw were a bit llke guns n roses and they were on in the afternoon!! We were already pissed by then but it didn't make it any better pmsl A very expensive weekend and considering that it was the HA's anniversary one, it was crap. Even an angel said that he'd been to better lol I won't completely rule out the future bashs but this year it's a no. The R&B was great, music was good, cheap beer and "blow jobs" (don't ask), atmostphere was better as everybody knew where everything was and there was somewhere to sit down and skin up (rather than having to trek 60 miles back to the tent) pmsl Each to their own I suppose. If you get a chance next year Steve you should go to the R&B, enjoy the bulldog this year though ;o)
