I shall say it to you all and say it only once, I hope that the anthropomorphic personification of whatever you celebrate at this time of year was generous and thoughtful and that you're now all braced for the New Year (Julian Calendar). All the best to you and yours at the turn of the year, spare a thought for all those we lost this year and the ones they left behind. If you've had a bad one, bear up, I'll light a candle for you in the tarnished tabernacle that would be my soul. May we all find happiness and good health this year. Until 2007 then, fare well.
