First and formost........... GOOD MORNING.....
Second, how far do you have to drive to get out of the city. As for me, from my home in Chicago...
North 30 miles,
East 7 miles then fall into a big lake,
South 15 to 20 miles,
West 20 miles.
Just was wondering...

We don't really have that many big cities Bob, so I doubt that anyone other than the Londoners have that far to go. At the moment, I live in a market town, and will be amongst fields if I travel no further than 1 mile in any direction. We move house on tuesday though, and will be right in the middle of nowhere, so in answer to your question, just out of the front door :-)

i live in a small ish town and i am literally on the edge of the countryside. a mile tops and i'm in to open fields and rolling hills. the opposite direction gets me to a big ish city (i don't go that way very often) lol ........... bob your big cities are quite abit bigger than ours, infact everything in america seems to be bigger. (i'm not talking mens private parts b4 all u american men suddernly get big headed) lol

Morning all horrible winter weather here
Distances I live on the west side of a city so can be west north south in minutes. Loch lomond is 10 minutes away
going east is 5-6 miles but who wants to go there anyway! the great unwashed live and watch their football at that side (eh froog)

i live in a small town on the east coast, the nearest city to me is norwich nd that takes about 45 mins to get from one side to the other depending on which way u go.
