Its just been on the news that we had a mini tornado.It hit a street in north London.That explains the hail stones in the city of London just before.

wow just went and looked at the story ............ good job no one died!!! how come there was no warning about it? and how come England has all of a suddern started getting these things?

BELIEVE IT OR NOT.........The south east actually suffers from more tornadoes year on year than the infamous "Tornado Alley" in the US; it's just that ours tend to be fairly insignificant little things that we call dust devils. THIS IS A REAL AND TRUE FACT! I HAVE NOT MADE THIS UP! HELP!! HELP!!! MY CAPS KEY IS JAMMED DOWN!!!!

you can be sure that MP's will put it down to global warning and invent a new tax so they appear to be green......... bloody hippy tree huggers. bring one the global warming i say, am bloody sick of being cold!

Wow, it was 2 miles from my place. i go past the house pictured in half every night on my way home. t the other end of the street shown i have a few friends who live there, but the damage is very concentrated so they are all fine. Talk about close!

the last bad one in London was 1954 according to the news so not global warming just nature. two weather fronts joining in a particular way. scary if your in it though eh?

had one up here a while back.... was durin one the big storms... a line of trees uprooted by it but trees either side unaffected.

the uk has more tornadoes per square mile than america anyway. and yeah its due to teh temprature shifts causing the winds to react differently with each other.
