On my way home from work friday evening some stupid twat in a car smashes into the back of me.What really pissed me of is the fact that i stopped at a red light and all i could see behind me was a white van that was some distance back.Anyway out of the blue wallop.After getting up off the floor i expected to see the van,But no it was some twat who come down a bus lane where he should not have been in the first place cut in front of the van and hit me.the bike has suffered the usual damage ie brake lever and foot brake both bent,bar end scraped.I have a engineer comming wednesday to check it over but he has told me the bike will have to go to be checked for swingarm damage.The other person has admitted liability and i have a witness too.So hopefully the bike will be fixed before xmas.
I feel better for getting that off my chest.

there are prats everywhere. and the speed cameras dont catch them
still as long as your ok and bike will be fixed all should be fine.

Glad you bounced OK, tell them you need the bike for daily use and try out different hire bikes until they settle!

Thanks for your replies guys,I'm fine except for the pulled muscles in my arms and back. I just want to get back on the road.Oh well London unerground for a couple of weeks.AAARRRRRHHHH.

Hi Reverend they have offered me a loan bike but my doctor has recomended I don't ride for a couple of weeks untill the muscles in my arms and back settle down.If by then my bike has not be repaired my insurers have said they will sort me a loan anytime after or untill my bike is fixed.I like the idea of trying loads of different ones out though.
