today i got to fix a clients computer.... it was brought in with a suspected virus and my job was to get rid of it.. sounds easy huh? just click on the AV software and job done..... oh no not this one... avg didnt find a virus nor did the latest release of avg 7.5. so used clean up (ta ox) then added zonealarm and ad aware and A squared.... A squared found 2 dialers and that was the problem.... poor bloke has been paying premium rate numbers for the last 6 weeks!!!!!! all sorted now and loads of new security stuff on his pooter but it took all day to track it down. poor sod!

try this then, it automatically looks for known diallers, http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10122137.html
Once again freeware.
Reason he probably had those diallers was that he surfed porn sites. happened to a friend, yes a friend. His bills went through the roof, he only found out cos BT called and said something was wrong.
