today is my jobsearch day up in workington (tis part of this course the job centre have got me on), its only 9 til 12 so i usually go off and do some shopping for my folks afterwards and to this end i had my throwover saddlebags on the bike. today as i left i noticed they had been lifted from the bike! now this is an industrial estate and the car park is (suposedly ) secure and has offices looking over the carpark from two sides, yet no one saw anything... I know i should have took em with me into the building but i have left em on the bike in a town centre many times and no one has bothered before. Thing is they are only of any use to a biker! am hoping it isnt a local biker that has lifted em (but if it is i will recognise my bags and retribution will be swift and bloody). i reckon its more likely to be some chavy bastard who will just sell em on at a boot sale or similar so am off round a few this weekend to see if i can spot em, if i do then sunday is likely to be a fun day for me and not for the scumbag thief!. managed to get a brand new set of spada throwovers at a knockdown price later but its still galling to think of some cnut wandering round with my gear.
