That British airways woman just lost her appeal for wearing a crucifix.
Let the debate continue..........................

omg:| really?! thats so stupid!!!! she should be able to wear a crucifix all she likes! im sure BA dont discriminate against jews who wear those hat turban things (sorry for my lack of knowledge please dont take offence)! why should she have to suffer?! shes not throwing her veiws on anyone... shes not making a mockery of airport security... its a cross on a chain for goodness sake!!

i guess the problem is she wants to wear it on the outside of her clothes?
if thats the case then its purely a dress code argument, i've never worked for a company that allows jewallary ( dont know how u spell it!) to be worn on the outside.
same should apply to all religions

and that is the point mito..... however BA do allow turbans for the sikh's and habib's for the muslims (both are of course visible signs of religious affiliation). The woman in question has been told she CAN wear her cross inder her uniform, this seems to be a double standard to me. after all if britain is this multi cultural society that accepts all faiths then why should british airways go against the spirit of that.
I am not religious in any way shape or form but it seems to me that someone who has deep felt convictions for a religion should be allowed to display that fact irrespective of what the religion it is.
having said that i dont aprove of them burka things but then they arnt anything to do with a religion.
