Yay It's now officially the weekend, its nearly 3 o'clock and I've only been up an hour and a half, it feels grand! I'm goin to a gig tonight which is something else i cant wait for Whats everyone else upto this fine and glorious saturday :)

bear 1300cc Superstar Joined: Friday, October 29, 2004 Posts: 5790 Location: cumbria United Kingdom	went out for a spin on the bike for some shopping. got about 4 miles from home and for about 3 seconds it lashed it down .....really heavy rain i got a wee bit damp and then it just stopped!!!! a bit further down the road (about a hundred yards or so) it started to sling down hail stones ouch ouch not nice at near 70 mph. and just like the rain it stopped after a few seconds.... odd weather. rest of the spin out was without incident weather wise. stayin in for the rest of the day but will venture out to the pub tommorow aft for my sunday lunch as per usual.... cant beat the pasties and mushy peas washed down with a pint of wonderous real ale whilst sat next to a roaring open fire.........bliss

rev_ 1300cc Superstar Joined: Thursday, January 13, 2005 Posts: 3068 Location: Coventry United Kingdom	well after repairing the other halfs bike i filled up all the relevant fluids or more to the point the petrol, brake fluid and jumped the battery (good ole jump leads eh?) and took it out for a tentative test ride.......there's something slightly un-nerving about getting on a bike you crashed last time it was ridden!!!! happy to report apart from lookinhg battle-scarred quite badly it rides well and surprise-surprise stops now!!! it doesnt have the presence on the road as it once had although thats probably due to the standard can being put back on i guess but its all good..............now what cani ask as my 'thankyou' from her indoors when she gets in???????? As for tonight i feel a trip into town for a well deserved session!!
