Did you know that the word LAGER.
comes from the russian word ROCKET FUEL?
After 17 pints, you end up landing on URANUS.

Lager: literaly, from the german to store. germanic beers are brewed using an ancient law called the rhienhiets geboch where only malt water hops and yeast can be used other beer making traditions allow for other adjuncts, such as sugar rice oats ect. traditionally their beer is brewed in the cooler months using a bottom fermenting yeast and is "LAGERED" or stored at a low temperature for at least 6 weeks. during this 6 weeks the yeast works very slowley to produce a slightly sweet beer (there are very small amounts of alpha acids from the hops so "lager" isnt a bitter beer). the length of time to brew a "lager" is why they cost more than a traditional ale. oh and lager isnt nessersarly that yellow colour (more properly called straw coloured) there are many different colour variations from yellow (straw) through amber to black.
There is no such thing as "A LAGER" it is a process.
pedantic mode !
