Hey chaps, I am riding to valencia next weekend for the final and have not attempted such a trip abroad. Anyone got any tips? Bar getting a GB sticker i am not sure what else I need ;-)

ermmm green card (insurance), make sure your AA/RAC whatever covers you in europe, copies of your registration documents, obviously your mot insurance paperwork and liscence, oh and a bail bond insurance for spain as well. first aid kit (mandatory in some euro countries) spare bulbs and cables etc make sure yer tyres are good enough to make it there and back , same with chain and sprokets.
oh and tent , dossbag, airbed, camera,torch, and lots of euro's for beer and food too. and carry all important stuff with you at all times.ie dont leav it in yer tent. lock the helmet to your bike and make sure you take a chain/padlock and or disclock/shackle lock. sunblock, anti mossi spray,and a change of lightwieght clothes. and if you manage to pack that lot on yer bike you will look like ewan mcgreggor about to go on a world tour again...

Hey you will have a fantastic time! Cant comment on what to take on bike etc cos we stayed in Valencia for a weeks holiday and took in the GP on the last day! Great weather too! enjoy!

Ditto to what Bear said also depending on rute you are taking ome of the main roads are toll roads so make sure you have euro's easily available to pay tolls. Have a great time and a safe ride

Sweet, bail bond is def needed for Spain. Glad I checked as that could've been a freakin nightmare.
Two more sleeps and its 10 days of riding and 3000 miles!

I'm pretty sure you now need a visi vest in Spain in case of break down. You definately have to have one in a car, might be worth checking out
