Grannies On The Road Sitting on the side of the road waiting to catch speeding drivers, a state trooper sees a car puttering along at 22 mph. He thinks to himself, "This driver is as dangerous as a speeder!" So he turns on his lights and pulls the driver over. Approaching the car, he notices that there are five elderly ladies - two in the front seat and three in the back, wide-eyed and white as ghosts. The driver, obviously confused, says to him, "Officer, I don't understand. I was going the exact speed limit. What seems to be the problem?" the trooper trying to contain a chuckle, explains to her that 22 was the route number, not the speed limit. A bit embarrassed, the woman grinned and thanked the officer for pointing out her error. "But before you go, Ma'am, I have to ask, is everyone in this car OK? "These women seem awfully shaken." "Oh, they'll be all right in a minute, officer. We just got off Route 127."

We like this. It made us laugh. Does anyone remember that episode of the magic roundabout where Dougal thought that speed limits were the speed you had to travel?

i've got a little story for ya (this is true btw) ............. my mum parked her car in a john lewis department store carpark and went off to shop. on coming back to get her car she couldn't find it .......... so she went to the security people to say her car had been nicked. they said to her "what level was the car parked on?" "level 5" she says ......... so they go to level 5 ......... my mum says "oh no this is not level 5 its too high up" they assure her it is the correct level but they go to the one below my mum says "look this is level 5 aswell!" pointing to a sign .......... the security guard says "errrrr madam thats not the level no thats the speed limit!!!!" daft sod lol they ended up walking up and down all the levels and eventually found her car lol

lol...omg just fantastic..I love your mum roeby..I once parked my car on level 5 and when I came back it had gone. I asked the attendants the same thing...We went to level 5 and looked and then he asked me if it was a golf..I said yes and he said oh I think yours was the one on level 4 . We had to put a brick under the wheel after it had rolled down from level 5 as you had nt put the handbrake on!!! See your mum and I use the same car parks obviously! lol
