today there has been a new insurance sheme started for car drivers, called 'pay as you drive' basically you pay for when you drive your car, cheaper in the day and in the night and if ur using a motorway, sounds a cool idea but maybe bike insures should think of this for those that dont use their bikes everyday.
only thing i would ask is...
is it still insured while sat on ur drive/garage and some git nicks it and over winter when some of us take them off the road.
it costs £50 to have a tracker fitted but that also tells them how fast ur goin, what speed ur doin round a corner and how u drive!!!!!! spies......

hmmmm sounds like a money maker for insurance companies.
If you do 12000 miles per year (average car mileage) and half of that is off peak and motorways that could only cost you 1p per mile so they say so that works out at £50 then if you did say 5000 miles during peak periods going to work and back thats at 3p per mile which equels £150 only 1000 miles at night thats up to £1 per mile so thats £1000 work it out for yourself they only doing this to make money not to save the motorist money Well thats just my opinion. It might be fine on a bike if u a low mileage user and only use the bike at weekends but needs working out

I think that idea was intoduced mainly for younger drivers, so they would only use their cars when they needed too, and to stop them driving like idiots at night time.
