just want to have a bit of a moan really..... yesterday i went to my forst humcc meet of the new accademic yr all cheery and raring for a good night. things were going fine had loads of new peeps turn up intrested in joining (some members were being lets say annoying but hey they cant help it they are handicaped by natural immaturitys. coming to the end of the night there is only three of us left me the presedent and the vice presendent. i decide to go and get another drink before i leave, leaving my bike helmet jacket and keys outside with the other two after getting my drink i go back outside to find that they have both gone. there sits my helmet and jacket keys on the table for all to see two feet from my bike. well thanks a bloody lot. when i txt them to have a go as i was very stressed at this point, they replied we thought u had gone. ok i can understand if they are stupid enough not to see a bright red helmet with a skull on it but how the hell do u miss a bike that your own bike is parked less than 2 feet away from it....... well rant over but it just proves that even people u think u can trust cant be trusted.................. ahhhh thats better

i releasing it all rev it just really annoys me how much would it have hurt to wait 5 mins instead of leaving nearly £400 of gear and my bike and keys open to anyone.

SoS, I'm 32 and thought that I had a best friend. She slept with my husband and is still being a royal pain in the ass. Don't trust your 'friends' when it comes to the things you care about hun. I've found out that I can trust my Dad and after that there's nobody else who hasn't got their own agenda.
Mates are great, but friends are extremely rare.

wise is the answer i think. yeah i suppose your right there are only two people i can really trust my dad and my best mate chris who i know would never double cross me. but hey thats life i suppose..
in reply to the keep your keys on ya i have taken the advice and now have them on a lanyard around my neck of where they stay 24/7 unless in my bike. i will post a pic of it as soon as i can find my camera cord.

ah smids, deep breath, always keep your keys on you and remember that although a lot of friends aren't what they seem, there are also those that are genuine but just don't think. that happens a lot too.
