Its good to see the range of comments my thread generated, just like the Reverend, I too lusted after the RD250LC, I have a tendacey to follow my feelings and instincts and will amit i bottled out of buying one, after losing one friend and seeing several very near misses.
The whole point of my thread was to point to the fact that if we dont as individuals and as clubs and groups start to get are own house in order someone will do it for us and spoil what we enjoy so much.
have fun out there and stay safe............
ps. Sal my willy is fine thanx and grown up ( well sometimes) hope yer well, are you back at work yet, and more importantly back on the bike??????

Hi Al,
Not back at work or on the bike yet. Have just started physio so could be a while yet, start hydrotherapy course at Gobowen at beginning of October, spending the Horseshoes Run money pmsl!!! Can't see me using the bike this side of xmas simply because of the weight, oh, and Paul says the battery's flat!!! he did offer to take it out for a run (roughly translated to thrash the knackers off it!) but I declined! It'll still be there next year, low mileage and all that!!!
PS Glad to hear your willy's ok but the cold weather's coming up you know!!!
