It is with deep regret that I have to report the sad demise of Phoebe, our goldfish of 8 years, who has finally floated to the top. She will be sadly missed by small boy (Charlie, also 8 years) and her toy boy(Fred, 4 years), after a short illness.
OMG....what am I going to say to small boy when he does his daily tank inspection at 7am tomorrow? He was in floods when he realised she was ill, he's gonna be inconsolable by breakfast time

Well, as predicted, Charlie was very upset at the sad demise of Phoebe, but was somewhat cheered up by the promise of a new friend for Fred after school today. He proceeded to con Andy into buying not one, but 2 new goldfish to keep Fred company, so it is with great pleasure that I welcome Frank and Felicity to our household
