I'm not a lover of heights at all. Went on sire to do a measure and couldnt go up the external open grate stairs of an 80mtr high silo.
Had to have a return visit following week with a colleague who went up for me. I was determined to overcome it so fought my mental mind (i believe its in the mind) to get up the damn thing! Took me over half hour and when i poked me head over the top me mate said 'Done now lets go down'

My answer is keep your feet firmly on the ground.

to be honest i dont think there is a cure as such on the market at the moment, a friend of mine suffered really badly from vertigo, she just had to stay home and do nothing, sorry, however that was some time ago, a visit to your doctor may be worthwhile, hope you feel better soon

Get your sinuses checked out along with your ears.
Other than that, keep away from high kerbs.

Well - you'll all be glad to know that although not completely better - the pills the doc gave at least allow me to get out of bed and walk !!!!
