reccomend the 600 bandit. It does whatever you want and is a good first big bike.
Also the sv650 or cbr600 are good to but be prepared to pay for a good cbr.depends what you want from a bike

Hmmmmm, vfr?Hope u got a good bank balance!Hefty service charges and honda parts are expensive. Its a good bike but a mate had one and he was always fooled by the engine as it sounded so quiet and when he looked at the speedo,he was always doing over the ton!remember the v-tec.its a bastid to work at which is where honda reel in the cash in service charges. My advice, start on a cbr600 and keep it a year and then change to bigger machinery.a cbr will sit with anything in the right hands and the engine is bulletproof but I still favor the bandit for simplicity, fun and versatility.
