funi enuf bubbs, had this convo other nite....i cud drink a bottle of wine and get pis*ed, or anuva day cud do the same and not feel the slightest bit drunk...i think it depends on if u have eaten, but most of all, tis the frame of mind and the most definate is the company you are in...!!!!!!

takes me lots to get smashed and takes me a day to recover from a good sesh.i dont count how many to be honest but at the iron ore i started drinking at 1pm and finished around midnight so about 11 hours of drinking guiness felt ok to be honest not really hammered but comfertably pissed. felt like death the next morning though.

I tend not to get hang overs anymore but get pissed more quickly than ever!! lol
There are occasions when I drink and drink and drink and nothing happens and then I'll stand up quickly and it'll hit me lol
What's the funniest "falling over pissed" encounter that you've had?
I was out with work a few years ago, been drinking Vodka and aftershock from about 6pm, hit a club at 10 and had a double vodka and red bull. Smoozed.... sorry stumbled away from the bar, stood next to (what I thought was) a wall, leant back to rest on wall and it wasn't there. I ended up on my back in the middle of the frickin dance floor with chavs pointing and laffing at me!!!

my worst fall down drunk episode was at the 10th anniversary kent custom bike show. it was held on romney marshes and there was a huge drainige ditch surrounding the site. after 20 odd cans of some dodgy lager (i was a callow youth then and drank the vile yellow stuff) and a bottle of jack daniels i sort of staggered back to my tent the only way i could remember where it was , was to follow the ditch round to where my bike and tent were. i slipped down the enbankment straight into the water it was about 8 feet deep lol. finaly got to my tent got out of my wet gear and went to sleep, only to be woken by the firework display and the music that accompanied it it was jean michelle jarre rendevouz huston. still remember the whole thing vividly. ahhhhhh happy days.

Kawa if I'm at home I can drink loads and not feel drunk, but when I step outside into the big wide world everything goes a bit blurry and the grounds starts to move beneath me, making me lose my balance! lol

i deff agree with thst it depends on the company but with me personally it also depends on what mood im in n wot ive eaten. during the day it takes me much less n im knackered if i dont carry on through to the evening

its defo the company im with, if im at home i can down 2 bottles of wine and not feel pissed( a bit more if someone has pissed me off recenly)
but if im out and about i only need a few glasses and i feel rat arsed, i think laughter makes u more merry.

For me any spirits will probs Knock me senceless a i have not touched them since new yrs (apart from at scunj`s moving thingy majig, that made me feel like shite then too), also not touched beer. Have a couple of ciders, but not really been ratarsed for so long now i wont need a lot i suppose.

Yes a quiet night in with a drink and its not a problem, however out with friends laughing, dancing and generally acting daft then thats recipe for being very pissed and a huge hang over the next day lol. Smoking used to make me feel worse too even to the point of feeling ill but I dont do that anymore thank goodness.
