Mike has been in an accident on his bike yesterday involving a car. I don't know all the particulars of the accident. I do know that he is in intensive care and might possibly lose his left leg. I know he was conscious at some point because he asked that Scott and I be contacted but we are not allowed to visit him just yet because we are not family. I'll keep you all posted...... Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Connie

Another sucky part is that his soon-to-be-ex wife is one of only 3 people that get to see him. And she is the last person he wants to see. So not fair....

This has had nothing to do with his issues except maybe that he may have not been totally focused. So please don't be making comments like that unless you know the score.

I think trying to make an assumption that he hit a car on purpose is a little different then telling folks he was in an accident, but thank you for your unabounding optimism and faith in humanity.

You know me, i never take it at face value anymore. Too many deceiving bassa`s out there. Just to make a point, never doubted your sincerity con.

In case your wondering why i am up at this time ( new for me as i have knocked the beer on the head so to speak so am totally sober) and one of my sons has a high temp and am monitering him. Seems a shame i have to explain myself on this site, but it seems the only way to have a conductive conversation.

I appreciate that. Thank you. Just feeling really bad because Mike has been a fixture in house for that few months. We've been trying to help him get him out of this funk he's been in. A difficult task I assure you. Hopefully, he can recover from this and it can help put everything into a new perspective for him. Debt and a broken heart are insiginificant when presented with the possibilities of no longer living.
