Not much of a poet but a little something for a man who was much loved and always around
An Irish man stood tall and proud
He faced the world with pride
When friends and family needed him
My grandad did not hide
The Angels came while he slept
They wrapped him in their arms
Be safe and happy up there Grandad
With all that Irish Charm
thanks again everyone
Craig

A nice tribute Zen.
I wrote a speech for my Dad's funeral and am proud of myself that I stood up and got through it (feck knows how), my little brother (the talented git) recorded a tribute album to him and the main song (Ride on Your Way) still kills me when I hear it.
Cheers
Grim

Your poem was beautiful. It was from your heart and that is what really makes it special. Hugs.
