is it the gpz600r?
if so, gpx600 parts are interchangeable.......
great fun,,,, a real point and click bike, shite handling but accelaration is wicked, i managed 23 mile run in 15 mins on a few bendy roads then some less bendy ones, at 4am,,,,,, just remember flying past a truck doing almost 160 and the truck apeared to swearve a bit when i looked in the mirror,,, i think me loud art can woke him up a bit.....

Aye sev, take it easy, those bikes aren't slow (comparatively speaking) so don't go too mad when you first get out on it. Get used to it and keep an eye on your speed, you may be going quicker than you think.
Best of luck with it though.
Cheers
