As well as being a Part Time Fireman i also work as a Landscape Gardener.
Since November last yr i've had no work to speak of, things have been hard but this morning i secured a new permanent job.......
as a wait for it............
Recyclin Engineer................... hehehehe (dustman to you and me)
Tiz local, get paid holidays...(something i haven't had for over 4yrs now) sick pay, bonuses and last but not least a Pension...(which at my age is very important)
Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaa 4 me, means i can now get me shiny bits for the bike, oh and some bits for Kez and the baby when it arrives.......
Can ya tell I'm happy.......!!

Fantastic news Ian,
I know it's difficult being outta work, I have been layed off twice. A man should not be judged how he falls but how he picks himself up and provides for his family.
