All the following are from genuine letters sent to the DSS. 1. I cannot get sick pay. I have 6 children. Can you tell me why this is? 2. This is my 8th child. What are you going to do about it? 3. In reply to your letter, I have already co-habited with your office so far without result. 4. I am forwarding my marriage certificate, and two children, one of which was a mistake as you will see. 5. Sir, I am glad to say that my husband reported missing, is now dead. 6. Unless I get my husbands money, I shall be forced to lead an immortal life. 7. Please find out if my husband is dead, as the man I am now living with wont eat or do anything until he is sure. 8. You have changed my little girl into a little boy. Will this make any difference? 9. In accordance with your instructions, I have given birth to twins in the envelope enclosed. 10. I want my money as quick as you can send it. I have been in bed with my doctor all week and he does not seem to be doing me any good. 11. Milk is wanted for my baby as the father is unable to supply it. 12. Re; Your enquiry. The teeth in the top are alright, but the ones in my bottom are hurting horribly.
