Autocom Pro is without doubt the best on the market, u can plug yer mobile and a mp3 player in and it will adjust the volumes automatically according to ambient noise and if yer pillion is babbling due to warp speeds

Usually with this type of intercom the headsets are crap and break frequently so make sure you have spares. They will probably be ok up to about 60-70mph although quite noisy and forget vox. Once you have ridden with radios you will not want to ride without them.
The is a review of these at http://www.motorcyclegearreview.com/reviews.php?prodID=750
We have had several types of these radios and they are good for the money. I have a pair of similar Cobra radios for sale with several spare headsets and desk charger if anyone is interested @ £60 although Wrossi and Davie said they are interested so they have first refusal.
Autocom are the best but for the full kit with good radios expect to pay around £350 per bike for the full kit but you then get almost cd quality sound at any speed, cd/radio/mp3 interface, mobile telephone interface rider to pillion as well as bike to bike and good quality headsets that will last a long time, can be cheaper if you dont have all the add-ons but I bought the lot so Roeby can scream to bat out of hell while riding. Having said that ebay usually has some good deals on these but usually for the older models (which have different connectors to the new ones). The best radios to purchase for the autocom systems is the Kenwood TK3101.

how good is the autocom system, what sort of speeds is it useable up to.
Me and the wife have a bike to bike set based on the Alan456 radios but as you say the headsets are crap so they only work till about 70.
Do you know if you can plug other radios into the Autocom system, not looking to use phone or music just a chatter/nag line.
PS what sort of bike/ helmet have you used the sytem with as this effects background noise it has to deal with.

mat... the autocom pro series really is the muts nuts.... it has never and i mean never broken down, failed to respond, blasted my ear-drums whilst i've been using it (for 2 years or so), most radios work with the system for bike to bike and it will handle any other plug ins u have an adaptor for, phasing the volume according to speaking on the mobile listening to music and yer missus chattering on the pillion seat....i for one cant recommend the system enough...though beware m8...as mark has mentioned...quality comes with a hefty 400 quid price tag for the pro-system plus all the bits n pieces
