Hi,Guys an' gals....just thought i'd introduce meself!!!!i've just joined up here and am currently off the roads with a sick yamaha!!!but very much interested in buying a CBR600F....iv'e had bikes since about the age of 6 and love 'em!! went to look at a nice cbr6 2day....V.tidy although 47.000miles showing!!!?? anyone know if a cbr600 with this mileage is exccesive????Any way....Just to say Hi and i hope 2 be back on the road soon!!! no its not cbr's will go forever if u take care of em, i had a 91 fm model and i think it did about 50,000 and it was fine, just needed valve clearances sortin and carbs balancing apart from that it was an excellent bike

no mileage is excessive if the bikes been serviced "properly". theres a few peeps in here who have in excess of 50-70k on the clocks and their bikes still a good 'un. the magic phrase here is "verifiable service history"....a bloke telling you it's been fully serviced by a dealer and then suddenly finding that the dealer must have forgotten to stamp the service log book is one of the oldest tricks in the book for ripping off newbies

hi and welcome hope u enjoy your time here. as for the cbr i agree with whats ben said already so long as its been looked after there isn't a problem .......... the problem is knowing whether it has been looked after or not

Thanks evr1 for the feedback,the cbr im after has been honda dealer serviced since new,so i know the history....the dealer is selling it 4 his m8...£1600 but 'e might drop a bit.....I'll know tomorrow....so if i know its been looked after then the milege should'nt be a prob........Excellent!!!Cheers,biker types!!!!!
