I got disconnected as i typed a reply to the above, glad i did as per Scorps has said it in as short as possible.....................now sevs the fun begins. Start a count on the friends you know, see how many die..........give it 6 months............A hard lesson to learn, we have all been thru it..especially the DR`s (if ya need to ask, dont bother).. Iwish every new and existing biker, rider, wotever you call them, the best in life and on the road. Seves just realise u aint the only person here, and remember the past....next time dont ask someone to lose their license..........you have one now, lets see how precious u feel about it.

its good your noticing that sort of thing, it may help u out inthe future, scorps is right, welcome 2 planet biker. Remember all car drivers are idiots and you wont go far wrong. The only exception seems to be drivers who have a motorcyle licence.

Well, it’s a world wide epidemic of stupidity. Seems to be catchy too... How about the morons that have their left directional on and take a right or vise versa? Or better yet those who do not use them at all, just slam on the brakes and turn… Just make sure you keep plenty of space between you and some idiot... makes one coo coo

You'll soon learn sevs that when ur riding ur bike car drivers can't seem to see other car drivers so they're not gonna be able to see bikers.I got told to wear flourescent clothing by an instructor...2 weeks later he was lying in hospital after someone pulled out on him...he had been wearing a flourescent jacket...all i can say is expect the un expected cos as much as you think they wont they probably will that applies to all motorists even bikers cos i've seen some idiots on bikes too that have nearly killed themselves and others....take care and keep ya eyes open......

the problem with car drivers is its easy to become one and the test really doesnt take into account every possible senario, most bike riders i know own a car as well and i beleive they make better drivers because they take some of there bike riding to the car i know i do, alot of car drivers see bikers as a nuisance on the road and get a bit of red mist especially in queuse as we all ride down the side to save time you need to pay particular attention and hope that the driver has spotted you in the mirrors ensure you lights are on and get an after market can so the buggers can hear you coming

Welcome the bikers world Sev hun......... Personally i think a CBT should be part of the car test...lets face it, 1 day on a bike will give them some idea what its like to ride a bike in todays traffic and maybe they'll be a bit more considerate towards us..... Just my twopenneth worth.... Ride safely hun Ian

Ah, the bikers mantra: I'm not paranoid, they ARE all out to get me. Expect everyone to try to kill you then it's no surprise when someone does. Cheers Grim
