Why all look pissed off when Microsoft release a new bit of kit? Its not fully tested, but you all clamour to buy it, then slag it off.................. It is a trial run so the user feedback can be used, yes not the best idea in the world, but u tell that to Bill Gates. The peeps who hack are the rapists of the past, thats human nature, so who is in the wrong.........The 1st computer designer, the 1st hacker, the 1st person to see a living out of the forementioned? Or us for depending on a facility which is inherent with problems, spys and general "crashes" because the average user has no idea how a computer works. Oops i had a rant and didnt swear, perhaps that was because it was a real issue, rather than some silly banter in the room with a numpty who has not got a clue?? i bloody hate bill gates and his company, they launch untried and shoddy software and the public often has no choice because the software is loaded by the shop where they buy the pooter. Gates is and always has been a shark. every hacker and script kiddie is attacking XP (and at a guess so is microsoft). am off to get more info on linux but until then i will stick with 98 as the virus writers dont seem to bother with the older versions of windows as much these days. XP is unstable too (from the point of view of several mates in the industry)and if you have a problem you can only re-register it 3 times before your licence is suspended/revoked. you can of course get the number re-instated but its another hassle dreamed up from people who are only interested in getting yer money.Linux is the way to go totally stable and more or less secure very few viruses(if any) about at the moment, its free too, tho it will take some mastering, but once you have figured it out you will have a firm grasp of what yer pooter can do, and also business is starting to look into linux too as they also become disenchanted with the world according to bill(ionare) gates.so job oppertunities will be there too. Windows will always be around but it aint the only choice. oh and by the way virus software and firewalls dont make your system safe at all, one of my friends works for a company who's sole aim is to break into other companies secure networks (to show them their anti hacking software is far from secure. if some one wants in to your files they will find a way)
