I'm planning on making a tour of Mexico and Central America after the New Year. The Plan (as it stands now) is to take a bus from Minneapolis to Las Vegas; buy a cheap bike and drive south until the wheels fall off. Does anyone have any suggestions? -Thanks

Head for the Reggae Bar which is bang on the beach and munch on their chicken quesadillla with a few beers..... mmmmmmm further inland head for San Ignacio....theres a few good places to stay but i suggest head a mile or 2 out of town towards the Guatamala border and there are some stunning lodges there. back in the town centre ask around for Max's Place....he's a top bloke and sorts out all kinds of tours etc, in a "chilled belizean stylee". 1000ft falls not to be missed Guatamala is a feckin shitehole and although incredibly cheap rivals some of the cess-pits of india in terms of squalor and poverty, avoid it if yer can. Thers a shed full o places in mexico that are chilled and well documented. Have fun dude!
