Just heard about a campaign being launched by East Anglian Ambulance Service which will help them contact your family if you have an "incident". The idea is you enter ICE

Sorry about that last post, more finger trouble!! anyway you enter ICE followed by a contact number into your mobile directory and the medics can contact a relative quickly. Let's hope this idea goes nationwide. Outlaw

great but surely this stinks of scare tactics...the terrorists will win if we go off the boil like this......this is exactly what they want for our daily lives to be interupted. do you want them to make a difference?? Most emergency services know how to find 'home' or mom+dad' in our phones and of course there is always text messages to find a loved one in our phones..... and of course they close the mobile networks anyway..... rant over!

Rev, This post is nothing to do with my previous posts on the terrorists, this is just an attempt by an ambulance service to standarise on a method of contacting friends and or family if you have a serious "off". I agree we all have "Mum", "Home" etc on our Mobiles but if we can standardise country wide vital time can be saved. Ride safe mate. Outlaw.
