Right, i have enough dosh saved up for my bike and insurance..........i can either get a old blade or a newer R6, if i get the blade its cheaper than the R6 to buy, but the insurance is slightly higher, or i could get an R6 and pay less on insurance............ I dunno what to get !!!!!

I'd go for the blade; it has class. The R6 is (sorry to any owners) is just for people waiting to afford an R1.

Great idea roeby....hey everyone....lets have a snot-athon....get all the "green" machines in a feild and charge £1 per person to hawk loogies at the steaming fetid mass of machinery...proceeds to charity....so who wants to hawk a loogie first?

I agree with thumps, blue and white is the way to go,a nice GSXR is what u need mate you dont have to have a 1000 or 600, you could av a 750 which would be better than both for road riding, up to you mate but i think anything green should be shot as it comes of the production line................................sorry bubbs....................................i'll go then.................somewhere far.................far away......................

Si, I've just upgraded from a YZF600 to a GSXR750 after 2 years - I could recommend the 600 for pootling about on for almost anything, superb alrounders. I'm still gettin to grips with the 750 - theres more power than I know wot to do with and launching it off the lights is still to be perfected....I feel a 'power commander' attack coming on... but in a nutshell, this too is a very user friendly bike albeit deceivingly quick. Good luck with your decision.

Well I'd be happy with an R6, and it's not just the fact that I would like to be able to afford an R1. So I'm not an R1 wannabe some people don't want to ride a huge bike. Of course if there was an R1 going for free I'd have it pmsl!
