thought i had better put one of mine in ..................... Mark and I were on holiday talking to this young girl who was a rep that drags u into bars, at this point i better say i was very very pissed, apparently she had already said that her mum had died recently and she came out to get away from things, i then proceeded to ask her questions and then i ended by say "i bet u miss your mum tho been all the way out here" duh must remember when pissed to keep my gob shut

I remember at college, I was describing the girlfriend of a mate to the lads and had just listed the fact that she was a bit ugly, no stunner, crap hair etc etc. then it occurred to me that she looked a bit like a lass on our course, so I said so. Only to find that the lass was stood right behind me. I don't think she liked me very much after that.
I'm always doing it though, it's part of the 'speak first, think later' philosophy ;-)

The day after our wedding, I was getting everyone back to the house and told Chin that my nephews had trashed the house (which they had) and that it looked like someone had planted some semtex in a packet of pringles.
Only to find that my sister's boyfriend was right behind me and not in the car, as I had thought. He was straight on the phone and my sister had hoovered by the time we got home. I felt so embarrassed.

I'd took a mate down to casualty and we were in a cubicle waiting for him to be stitched.
A lass was put into the next cubicle who had just cut the end off a finger, so we could hear a bloke trying to calm her down in a hushed voice,
next thing in we hear in a very loud voice is her screaming 'what do you mean I've still got nine more'
