There is a comments section at the bottom of the article. If you have questions, put them in there and see if anyone has more details. You might get lucky.

For a start off how did he manage to walk let alone run after hitting a metal chevron at over 100mph, and what happened to the pillion? How did the 2 coppers who had been harrassing him know it was him when his bike was most likely not registered on the database at the time cos lets face it, we all know how long it takes the DVLA to get the job done....

Shame... But he just shouldn't have run, even if he was riding illegally. Least he'd still be around now and still enjoying his boozy nights out. Maybe the coppers were pulling him over for good reason which was why he didn't sort out the victimisation issues... Just a thought. Whatever I feel sorry for him and his family.

dunno i get stopped all the time when im out late in my car. especially if they have just seen me comeing out a bar/pub. i know there there so i drive super legal. and they pull me over asking all the usual, 'is it your car?' 'have you been drinking?' 'have you done drugs?' 'were you going and were you been?' once they realise i am all above bord they give me some lame excuse for why they pulled me...'you were swerving for no reason' or 'if you had pulled out any slower i might of had to brake' (both not true)
