Hey Gix, good to hear your still alive and kicking.

It would seem like there is still a bit of life here, but only just, it's like looking for a pulse on a crash test dummy but look hard enough and you will soon be convinced you found one.

What you been up to, any gigs, bike runs, holidays or anything else interesting been happenin ?

Me?, well just the normal sh;t, work , work ,work although I did manage a trip to Amsterdam again recently, was fun but f#ck me its became expensive, weed and beer through the roof, greedy b@stards charging the earth for hotel rooms too.

I dropped my bike the other day, turned round, walked up the driveway and "crash" the f#cker fell off the stand, surprising how much damage you can do by not making sure yer side stand is out properly, thanks to flea bay I'm on the road again though or at least I would be if the snow clears!!

I hate my job, hence I'm sitting here writing sh;tty posts instead of the crap I'm meant to be doing, work sucks ass, I want to become a lazy sod for a living !

Hey Gix,

Yeah it was the ZX, I got a new footrest hanger and clutch lever to get back on the road but the fairing lower is cracked, ironically due to the crash bung, the mirror is scuffed as is the engine casing, status quo stand right enough lol !

A mate just rebuilt a vfr800 using a pre painted Repsol fairing from China, his experience has told me, buy genuine only so I have my eye on the net for clean mk1 Kawasaki fairing lowers and other bits n pieces, it wont keep me off the road but needs done to keep the bike in tip top condition.

Got all winter to deal with it, the roads are like dirt tracks up here at the moment, everything covered in a thick layer of grime and salt after a few miles, nasty !

Wow excellent, I would love to find one or two of my old bikes and restore them, in particular my old RD500, I expect that's in the big showroom in the sky by now though lol !

Would be good to see a photo of the Ace when your finished, great bike, I loved the exup engine, so much grunt and torque as well as being a screamer when you ring it out.
I had the mk1 FZR Genesis and always thought I would update it with an ace, although it never happened I have been an admirer of them since day 1 !

I spotted one in Amsterdam the last time I was over, I will try and find the photo, it looked as good as new !
