Buy the best you can afford, many years ago I paid £200 for a pair of Lewis Leathers jeans, the jacket was even more expensive. To cut a long story short the "jeans/trousers" saved me from serious road rash and even kept the kneecaps in the right position after ramming myself ( as the WOMAN DRIVER SAID) into her Metro @ 70MPH. Also as an ex despatch rider, buy the best,its warmer. Protective and protective and helps protect. Did I mention protection? -- I like long walks,especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

I understand about Protection and as an ex off road rider, I always appreciate that its not wise to buy cheap. Better get some overtime in lol --
