At long last after nearly 2 years of f#kin about my Bandit is almost ready, just in time for camping season too, excellent.
Its a long story but to cut it short I stripped off the head and barrels , got it re bored for wiesco 1216 pistons and gas flowed the head via Holeshot.
The courier lost 3 pistons !
The bores were done for a Turbo spec and hence burned oil by the bucket load.
After much arguing with couriers, insurance agents, holeshot and my local mechanic, I now have the bike back in one piece and ran in ready for the rolling road tomorrow morning.
Will post the results at the weekend, I hope to get a good reading as it feels great now with tons of power and torque.

The dyno run went well, had to adjust the jet size (again) and retard the ignition back to standard, increase the air intake and we got a reading of 144bhp, the fastest speed reading was 167 mph although thats without wind resistance etc so don't expect to get that on the road erm I mean Track officer but nice to see.
All I need now is some decent weather to go and enjoy the bike, got snow here today lol ! Bring on the summer.

Yes you have to increase the carbs to let the engine flow fule better.
A "loud" zorst can substantially drop power.
My GSX750 had a Russ Collins 4 into 1 drag pipe, poor ground clearance.
The GT750 has a piper 3 into one. 3 cylinder two stroke in case some do not know.
The GSX was fine with it. Lost power with the kettle.

Anyone got any ideas? (and please don't say burn it, that would hurt lol )
The bandit is still burning oil, did a 350 mile run and had to top up about half a litre, before the re-bore it wouldn't even use a teaspoon full in 3,000 miles between changes.
The barrels on the bike were from another standard bandit 12, bored to suit the wiesco 1216 pistons. (after the turbo spec f#ck up)
New rings, valve stem oil seals, all top end gaskets, highlift cams and gas flowed head have all been done.
The bike runs like new, feels great and puts out impressive torque and bhp but smokes like a bugger from a cold start, fades after 5 mins tick over but will continue to be smoky under pressure but clean on cruise mode.
Any thoughts on what's going on?
