Based on the fact your a tad younger than me ox ...
I'm guessing you'd have been attending gigs at the Hammersmith Odeon..
In the early 80's for definate ????
Might i presumme then that you may have seen 'Iron Maiden' on there ...
'Beast On The Road' tour ?
To be more exact the one that has quite a few clips on video etc

Even rode the half mile on my Yammie RS124dx, ( got to get it right :D)
Actually now thinking, dad took me there aged (got to look this up) BRB.
Rumble in the jungle, Ali`s fight in 1974.
No one had sat tv then iirc.
Think the fight was 1 am brit time.
Bloody big treat for me @ 10 yrs old.

was watchin his lynott tribute on bbc 4 .......jeez bought back memories of bein down the front watchin him at nec when a roadie came on and told him phil had died ???played lizzy stuff for what seemed like hours with tears streamin down his face n most of the crowd too .......its a strange kind of thing to try n explain

Think it is called mass hysteria when that happens.
Not beliting anyone for doing that,
Almost all do in stressful times.
And it spreads. Hence the football issues, and now large fences removed.

Sat on my glasses and cannot get or replaced till Monday or Tuesday.
FFS bI`m only 47 and the peelers have gone nipples up!
This is the second pair in two years. Not bad going, hate to use them but if I read a book or use a pooter, unless 3 foot away I cannot see a thing, Optopessimist said old age, I said cluck off!
