Well is finally happened here I am in bed in hospital with my tendon cut and stretched. Only taken a year on NHS waiting list! Will find out if it was sucessful tomorrow and I can put weight on it. In agony and tired but cannot sleep such is life

Thanks unfortunately the morphine wore off so a poor night was had. As for the nurses one great blonde and a black/coloured one. Females obviously!

Thanks, certainly no rushing. Going to have to have home delivery from Asda as too difficult to manage. Normally a 4min walk, now over a hour! Tried it yesterday, never again when in plaster like this. Before wasn't too bad was allowed full weight bearing, now none!

As in what?
If you mean cope, i hop carefully on wood floors stand on one leg cooking or ironing.
Have to flannel wash, not allowed in bath or shower even if the cast is wrapped in the waterproof thingy.
Life is going to be more microwave stuff rather than fresh although now joined home delivery groceries.
