I really need some help got this old honda and i am trying to rewire the bike but i cant find or get a rectifier(turns 12v AC to 12v DC) for it so i am looking for an alternative for it any suggestions will help.

Make one, all you need is 4 diodes.

Diagram there.
Or you have Maplins in the US buy one there.
Or a breakers ( Scrap yard) will have one knocking about.

One reason I gave the options I did Martin is because the OP did the same as most do on the trade sites I use. For example " My alarm will not reset, what do I do?"
Well telling us the MAKE and MODEL will give everyone a fighting chance of getting the answer to the OP. ( Original Poster).
Anyway they have a maplins in the states and as stated it takes 5mins to make one with a soldering iron and some heat shrink.

Thank you both for all the help have been asking people in the states and always got the run around. I really appreciate all the suggestions will have to try and make one and get this bike back on the road.
