Hi People!
First post, and i need help (well, more a confirmation) if you wouldn't mind?
Need to insure an import bike in the uk, the bike is a 1991 H reg but was first registered here in 2001. Comparison/Direct insurance websites state my bike was only "made" from 1998-2001 so do i use the date of first uk registration to insure it?

Im guessing here that you are filling in forms on Insurance web sites ...
If because of any reason you have details which dont match what is in the lists given on the insurers web site you will be asked to contact them ...
simples ...
A simple rule regarding anything in relation to Insurance is that if it is something slightly out of the ordinary, you will possibly have to pay more ... good luck
Be warned tho that blagging it to get a better quote is all well and good till you have to claim ... The Insurers WILL know what they are looking at* and WILL refuse to pay out if it isnt exactly what you say it is!
