As you might have noticed by the pics went to Brighton today to view the sports mopeds ...

All in all i counted about 100 bikes which included other sports mopeds of the 70's and a few other older bikes as well as a few rather interesting variations on the theme !!!

If you want me to post more pics ... i'll sort a few out

wow! glad i got to 17! fsie's fizzies were crap! slow , didnt handle etc etc... just a crutch for nostalgia seeking old guys now, moi? i had one but a ktm comet cross was sooo much better!

My first legal road bike was a Suzuki AP 50 almost a carbon copy of the fs1e, I was 16 years old and was just happy to be on the open road.

The wee Suzy topped out at 55mph while my mate buzzed along behind on his much smarter looking Kawa AR 50 at 31 mph LMAO

My mates had both those other bikes you two mentioned !
One had an 'R' Reg Blue AP50 which was faster than a fizzy and had a sensible gear arrangement ... ie 1 down 4 up as oppossed to the mental 4 down of the FS1-E
My other mate had a brownish gold ??? coloured KTM Comet Cross on an 'L' plate if i remember rightly.

they were all crap! BUT! they got us into bikes! at the time they were sex on wheels cos we didnt know better!

i don't know about all those variation of bikes...but....i did watch a movie the other night called Peaceful Warrior and he rode a Triumph...don't even know what kind of Triumph it was but....wow...there was just sometihing super sweet about it and now i just have to have one...

here i am with this big ol' beefy bike that i have a true passion for and i see this triumph and now i know things will never to the same until i form a threesome...

If you can't get it going with bungee cords and electrician's tape it's serious.
