Hi,

I'm new to this forum and to motorbikin. I am plannin a big trip for charity riding from Manchester to Igoji just outside Nairobi in Kenya and I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this sort of thing and would know any info that would come in useful? The route I have planned is to take me through Europe leaving the EU in Turkey then down through Israel, Sinai, Egypt, Uganda and into Kenya or thereabouts. Mostly I was wondering what the deal is with regards entering these countries with a motorbike. How much paperwork will I have to do and how expensive will it end up being? Also anything else that might be useful from people that are more expert at this sort of thing than me. I should point out that I am already aware how dangerous such a trip will be and that finishing it with the same bike as I started with is highly unlikely! Oh nd I'm a UK citizen.

Thanks in advance,

Ian
