I need advice on a new purchase. I have not ridden in over 35 years. So I consider myself a newby (again!). I used to ride a Honda when I was a kid in college. Now I am thinking about the Harley sportster or the Honda Shadow. I am stuck on the Harley due to brand loyalty, but the Honda Shadow is an impressive bike. From those of you who have experience, what is your advice.

Much better centre of gravity and well balanced bike!!!!!!!! Failing that.... Shanks Pony???LOL -- Lead me not into temptation...I am capable of getting there myself.
