The 'lads' we belting round a field on quads and I thought... hmmmmmmmm I'd like one of them esp the Honda Fireblade powered one.

looked on Honda website and dont see that one. Honda make a few quads but only with piddlin little lawnmower engines. I think that one the TOP GEAR crew had was made by specialist Co. like that Arial Atom with the Busa engine in it. will keep looking tho because my biking days are numbered due to age/illness but I want something crazy fast I can ride/drive that will give the same buzz as a bike. fast cars dont do it for me.

As far as i thought, most of these projects are taken on by engineer/mechanically minded enthusiasts who have a desire to meet the maker sooner than the rest of us by making turbo bussa karts, Turbo R1 quads and the like.
A few things like that on youtube, check them out and send em a message, I'm sure they could tell you where to start.

Would quad chassis be able to cope with blade power?
I would have thought a cbr6 engine would have been more than enough poke for a quad
