pmsl yeah Martin I was screaming like mad and jumping about!!!!!
my heart was going like the clappers I was shaking!!!
I can't believe even God got involved with the bloody weather lol the race itself was rubbish apart from the start and the finish ....... but the best man won despite the FIA doing all they could during the season to swing the championship in the red corners favor.
It would be great if they all played fair and didn't have favourites and I would love to know why Max (hitler) mosley has it in for Mclaren and Ron Dennis so much.

Shame other Brits with World titles dont get the same exposure, if it aint a ball sport or F1 it seems its not news worthy, from what I saw he was extremly lucky,
over paid and over rated......thats my opinion........

he was lucky in THAT race, BUT all season he has had to fight for everything cos given half a chance the stewards have made some very iffy decisions against him.
The pay structure isn't down to him (i'm sure he likes it) but this kid has been at this since he was a baby his love is racing cars and wanting to win. I don't see what is wrong with that. The trappings that come along with it are a bonus, he would have done this even if there wasn't as much money involved.
I'm with u on the fact that they get paid stupid money but i think given that u could lose your life racing its not as over paid as say a footballer. Its a popularity thing innit the sports that people love get the media attention. other sports that don't get the viewers don't get the big bucks or maybe the recongnition that they deserve.
u still can't take away the fact that this kid and his father have worked there whole lives for this and in that case given the dedication they have shown in my view deserve it.

I m totally with you on this Roeby. I think that anyone who is as dedicated to something as this kid deserves the recognition and remuneration.. Apart from that good bloody luck to him. I wish Bertie could be as secure as early as him. Butas a parent I dont think I could have coped with the heart in mouth thing each race.. Am really really pleased for him . Its a tough life out there. Why be miserably poor if you dont have to be! Well done Lewes. Just get good advice with your money.
